Allan Grimson, 66, from Suffolk, began trial on 1 June 2026 charged with one rape and 11 indecent assaults. The alleged offences happened in the 1990s. Four men and boys say he hurt them when they were teenagers. Grimson says he is not guilty of any of the charges. The trial is expected to last four weeks.

The defence argues that memory fades and that without physical evidence, it is hard to be sure what happened. With so many accusations to examine in detail, the trial needs several weeks.
