Roborock's New Robots Can Clean Your Floors, Mow Your Lawn, and Even Clean Your Pool

Roborock, best known for robot vacuums, used the IFA 2026 tech show in Berlin to announce a whole range of new cleaning robots. The lineup includes robot vacuums, upright hard-floor cleaners, a robotic lawnmower, and a robotic pool cleaner. The company did not share prices for any of the new products before the event, which runs September 4–8, 2026. IFA Berlin's own press material described Roborock as the world's No. 1 robot vacuum brand in 2025 (Engadget).
The most notable new vacuum is the Saros Rover, which first appeared at CES 2026. Its wheels can extend to climb over small obstacles and go up stairs. That solves one of the biggest problems with robot vacuums: they have always been stuck on a single floor. Roborock also announced the Saros 20 Flow Complete and Saros 20 Neo, which both vacuum and mop at the same time. They can also cross raised floor strips where two types of flooring meet. The Saros 20 Flow Complete is expected to go on sale in October. The Saros 20 Neo will be sold in the US under the name Qrevo Edge 3 Pro (Engadget).
For hard floors, Roborock introduced two upright cleaners. The F25 Ultra Steam Gen 2 heats its water tank when you start cleaning and reaches a stable 180°C (about 365°F) in 30 seconds. It also adjusts to different floor types on its own. The F25 Pro Turbo Combo is modular, meaning it comes with a detachable motor unit and several brush heads for different surfaces (Engadget).
Roborock is also moving outdoors. The RockNeo Q2 is a robotic lawnmower that uses LiDAR — a laser-based sensing system that lets it map your yard without needing buried boundary wires. It is water-resistant (rated IPX6), can handle slopes up to a 45 percent incline, fits through gaps as narrow as 60 cm, and works with Amazon Alexa and Google Home. The RockAqua P1 is a robotic pool cleaner that runs for up to 3.5 hours. Its motor adjusts power based on how dirty the pool is and how much debris is present. Its suction is rated at 6,800 gallons per hour (25,700 liters per hour). The P1 comes in an 8-inch shallow-platform version for the US and Canada, and a 15 cm (5.9-inch) version listed on Roborock's global IFA page (Engadget; global.roborock.com).
Roborock has set up a dedicated IFA 2026 webpage called "IFA 2026 | Rocking Life With You" on its US, global, Canadian, and Australian websites, with different features highlighted by region. The US page teases 100°C hot-water mop washing, a dock that cleans itself, and a system that dries the dust bag with fresh air. The Australian page focuses on a pressurized self-cleaning system powered by a 36,000 Pa motor (us.roborock.com; au.roborock.com).
This is a clear expansion for the company. At IFA 2025, Roborock launched its first lawnmowers under the theme "Rocking Life, Inside and Out." A year later, the company's products cover indoor floor care, lawn maintenance, and pool cleaning, making it a broader home-automation brand rather than just a robot-vacuum maker (newsroom.roborock.com).
The broader context is that robot vacuums have gotten cheaper to make and harder to stand out in. Features that used to be premium, like self-emptying bases and mopping systems, are now common on mid-priced models. By moving into outdoor categories like lawn care and pool cleaning, Roborock is entering markets where fewer households own a robot yet, the technology is less developed, and the products sell for higher prices. The lawnmower's ability to handle slopes and tight spaces suggests it is designed for real suburban yards, not just flat lawns. The pool cleaner's long runtime and adaptive motor target two complaints that have dogged robotic pool cleaners from the start: short battery life and poor handling of debris.
The real question is whether Roborock can convince people to trust its brand for lawns and pools the way they have for floors, where established companies already specialize. The specifications look competitive, but without prices, it is hard to judge value. October's launch of the Saros 20 Flow Complete should offer the first concrete signal.
