Apple will launch a service called AppleCare One in the United Kingdom, France, Germany, and Australia on August 4, 2026. This is the first time the plan has been available outside the United States since it launched there in July 2025 Engadget.

AppleCare One lets you protect up to three Apple devices under one monthly payment instead of buying separate plans for each. Think of it like a family phone plan: one bill, multiple lines. You can also add more devices for a small extra fee per device.

In the US, the plan costs $20 per month for three devices and $6 per month for each extra device. In the UK, it costs £16.99 per month for three devices, with each extra device at £4.99 per month. The plan gives you the same protection as Apple's top-tier coverage, called AppleCare+ with theft and loss. That means if you accidentally damage your device, you can get it repaired as many times as you need. It also covers battery replacement and gives you round-the-clock access to Apple's support team. Apple says the bundled plan saves you money. A customer protecting an iPhone, iPad, and Apple Watch together through AppleCare One can save up to £11.48 per month compared to buying separate protection plans for each device Engadget. For comparison, Apple's standard theft-and-loss plan for an iPhone 17 in the UK costs £9.49 per month on its own.

At the same time, Apple also added theft and loss coverage for iPad and Apple Watch to its individual AppleCare+ plans in the UK. Previously, this kind of protection was only available for iPhones in the UK. Now customers buying separate plans can also get theft and loss coverage for all three device types that AppleCare One covers.

In the US, Apple has also raised prices on individual AppleCare+ plans for Macs and iPads. The increase is tied to higher device prices, ranging from $100 for a basic iPad to $500 for an M5 Max MacBook Pro Engadget. With individual plans getting more expensive and the bundled plan offering a discount, households with multiple Apple devices have a clear financial reason to switch to the single plan.

Until now, only US customers could use it. People everywhere else had to buy and manage separate plans for each device, which cost more and required more effort to keep track of.

Apple chose the UK, France, Germany, and Australia as the first international markets because these are among its largest markets outside the US. Apple already sells its protection plans in these countries with local pricing and support, which made it easier to add the new bundled option.

The bigger picture is that Apple has been steadily growing its revenue from services and subscriptions. A plan like AppleCare One, which ties multiple devices to one monthly payment, makes it harder for customers to switch to a rival brand. If you have three or four devices covered under a single plan, moving even one device to another company would leave you paying more for the remaining ones or buying separate coverage again.

The four-year age limit for older devices is also worth noting. Since most people upgrade their phones and tablets within that timeframe, the plan is available not just to people buying new devices but also to those who already own fairly recent Apple products.

For businesses managing large numbers of Apple devices, the plan is less relevant. AppleCare One is designed and priced for individual consumers and small households, not for corporate IT departments. But smaller organizations that buy consumer-level coverage might find the bundled pricing useful when comparing options.
