Mike Epps Signs With Independent Artist Group Across All Areas

Mike Epps has signed with Independent Artist Group (IAG) for representation across all areas, including his production company Indiana 1 Productions, the agency confirmed on 10 August 2026 (Variety).
The deal broadens a relationship that was already active on the live-touring side. IAG previously handled Epps' concert and arena bookings; the new arrangement adds film, television, comedy, literary, endorsements and any other entertainment projects to the agency's remit (Variety). Jim Osborne, CEO of IAG, commented on the signing, though the specifics of his remarks were not made public.
Epps arrives at the expanded partnership with considerable momentum behind him. His "We Them One's Comedy Tour" sold out several arenas during its run, and his standup special Delusional premiered on Netflix in January 2026. Netflix then signed him for two additional specials after Delusional dropped (Variety). The tour, hosted by Tony T. Roberts, was also scheduled to return to Gainbridge Fieldhouse in Indianapolis on 13 February (Gainbridge Fieldhouse).
On the screen side, Epps is widely known for roles in the Friday franchise, The Hangover, Sparkle, Girls Trip and Dolemite Is My Name. He also executive produced and starred opposite Wanda Sykes in Netflix's The Upshaws, which wrapped its seven-season run earlier in 2026 (Variety).
Indiana 1 Productions, which Epps founded, focuses on developing original film, television and comedy content. The company has already produced several projects, including Hulu's 2025 series Good American Family, starring Ellen Pompeo (Variety). Bringing the production banner under IAG's representation gives the company a single agency partner for both Epps' performing career and his producing deals.
The signing consolidates Epps' representation picture. As of July 2025, his team included UTA, manager Niles Kirchner, attorney Todd Rubenstein, and IAG for touring (Deadline). He also signed with Artists First for management that same month (Deadline). IAG, for its part, has been building out its roster: comedian Karlous Miller signed with the agency across all areas in November 2025 (Deadline), and the agency hired Dru Bass as a talent agent in April 2026 (Yahoo Entertainment).
For fans of Epps' comedy, the upshot is straightforward. A sold-out arena tour, a fresh Netflix special deal, and now a unified agency relationship point to a busy stretch ahead — on stage, on screen, and behind the scenes.
