Davis is the daughter of comedian Jasper Carrott, the Birmingham-born stand-up and television performer whose real name is Robert Davis. Her career spans some of the most recognisable comedy in British television and film over the past two decades.
She played receptionist Dawn Tinsley in the original UK version of The Office, Ricky Gervais and Stephen Merchant's mockumentary series set at the Slough paper merchant Wernham Hogg, with Gervais as the manager David Brent.
