Jewellery designer Jennifer Meyer has teamed up with Citizens of Humanity, the Los Angeles denim label, on a six-piece capsule collection that spans denim, leather, silk and flannel. The collaboration, called Citizens of Humanity x Jennifer Meyer, launched on a Wednesday and is priced from $298 to $1,298, according to WWD.

The capsule was inspired by pieces Meyer said she was always searching for in her own closet — the wardrobe staples that are simple to imagine but harder to find in the right cut, fabric and finish. Citizens of Humanity's creative director, Marianne McDonald, worked with Meyer on the range, which the brand describes as born from a shared creative vision between the two (citizensofhumanity.com).

Two pieces anchor the collection. The Jen Straight Leather Pant in Black is a clean, straight-leg leather trouser with classic five-pocket styling, made from 100% lambskin. The Blaine Vintage Straight jean comes in a new wash called Parasol, made from regenerative cotton — cotton grown using farming practices aimed at improving soil health rather than depleting it.

The remaining pieces round out the capsule across its four materials: a Vintage Long Button-Up Shirt in Marina Plaid flannel, and a Lace-Trimmed Slip Dress in Cream silk. Each item is listed on Citizens of Humanity's own website.

Meyer promoted the collaboration on her official Instagram account on 11 August 2026, a day before the WWD report. She is also referred to in some fashion press as Jennifer Meyer Maguire, a name that dates back to earlier coverage of her career (WWD, 2011).

The collaboration sits in a familiar stretch of the fashion calendar — the late-summer period between the resort collections shown earlier in the year and the main spring/summer weeks that open in New York in September. Capsule collections, short collaborative ranges produced by two brands together, have become a standard way for denim and contemporary labels to generate attention outside the main show schedule.

For Meyer, the capsule extends a design practice rooted in fine jewellery into ready-to-wear. For Citizens of Humanity, it pairs the brand's denim expertise with a collaborator whose name carries weight in Los Angeles style circles. The price range places the collection squarely in the premium-contemporary tier — above mass-market denim, below luxury houses' ready-to-wear.
