Premios Juventud 2026 Reveals First Performers as Latin Music Awards Head to Europe for the First Time
Billboard exclusively revealed the first wave of performers for Premios Juventud 2026 on Aug. 13, and the list spans salsa, reggaetón, regional Mexican and Latin pop — the genre mix the awards show has built its brand on. Ana Mena, Christian Nodal, Elvis Crespo, Farruko, Greeicy, Juan Magán, Marc Anthony, Mau y Ricky, Quevedo and DJ Rous are all confirmed to take the stage Billboard.
The ceremony takes place Sept. 3 at the Starlite Auditorium in Marbella, Spain, and will broadcast live across Univision, UNIMÁS, Galavisión and the streaming platform ViX. It is the first time Premios Juventud — Univision's annual youth-voted Latin music awards, running since 2004 — has been held in Europe.
This year's theme is "Conéctate al Vibe" ("Connect to the Vibe"), and several performances are built around that framing. Farruko, Juan Magán and DJ Rous will premiere "Marbella Nights," the official anthem of the 2026 edition. Farruko will also perform "Yapaque" with Greeicy, a track that reached No. 1 on Billboard's Latin Airplay chart in July — the chart that tracks radio audience impressions across US Latin stations.
Quevedo, the Madrid-born artist best known for the global hit "Quévedo: Bzrp Music Sessions, Vol. 52," will make his Premios Juventud debut with a medley of "Columbia," "Al Golpito" and "La Graciosa," joined by Elvis Crespo — the merengue veteran behind the 1998 crossover staple "Suavemente."
Marc Anthony, named an Agent of Change honoree at this year's ceremony alongside Yandel, will perform a set of career-spanning hits including "Aguanile," "Valió La Pena," "Pa'lla Voy" and "Vivir Mi Vida." The Agent of Change honour recognises artists for their social and community impact.
On the nominations side, Carín León leads the field with nine nods. Beéle, Kany García and Rauw Alejandro follow with seven each. The full nominee list was announced in late July Variety.
Premios Juventud 2026 also coincides with the inaugural PJ Fest, a weeklong series of creator activations and live concerts planned across Houston, Miami and Los Angeles in the lead-up to the Marbella gala. Artists booked for PJ Fest events include Jay Wheeler, Piso 21, Morat and the duo Calle y Poché.
For a show that has spent two decades anchored in US Latino audiences and American arenas, moving the gala across the Atlantic is the headline detail. Spain's Latin music market has grown sharply in streaming revenue over the past several years, and Marbella's Starlite Auditorium — an open-air venue built into a quarry — is a high-profile summer concert destination on the Costa del Sol. The broadcast setup keeps the US television and streaming audience intact while the physical event moves.
