Damian Lazarus has announced the lineup for Day Zero 2027, his annual turn-of-the-year party held in the jungle near Tulum, Mexico. The thirteenth edition is scheduled for January 9, with tickets going on sale August 25 (Billboard).

The named acts span house, techno and adjacent electronic styles. Tiga, Victor Calderone, Vintage Culture, LP Giobbi, Chloé Caillet, Mita Gami, Brunello and Midnight Generation join Lazarus himself on the bill, according to Billboard. The festival's Instagram account also lists &ME, LUM, and the duo Dan and Rafael among the performers. In his own Instagram caption, Lazarus said the 2027 curation features 30 artists across three stages. Organisers have promised one "very special guest" whose identity remains under wraps.

Day Zero runs from sunset through the night, closing with Lazarus's traditional sunrise set. He has staged the party in Tulum since 2012, building it into one of the more distinctive dates on the electronic music calendar — a jungle setting, an all-night arc and a curatorial voice rooted in Lazarus's own DJ background rather than a mainstream festival template.

The Tulum edition is the flagship, but Day Zero has expanded well beyond Mexico. The first Brazil edition took place in January 2025, and a debut Bali edition followed in April of that year. An Israel edition was held near the Dead Sea in 2019. Previous Tulum lineups have ranged widely: Billboard reported that the 2016 edition featured Felix Da Housecat, Acid Pauli, Bedouin and Venezuelan duo Fur Coat, while the October 2022 edition was led by Major Lazer Sound System, Major League DJz and Danny Tenaglia alongside Lazarus.

Ticket sales open on August 25, with early access for registered sign-ups at 12:00pm Tulum time and the general public sale at 4:00pm Tulum time, according to the festival's Instagram. The official Day Zero website confirms the Tulum edition is forthcoming, and Billboard's Music Industry Events Calendar lists the festival for January 2027 in Tulum.

For fans, the January date means planning around peak Tulum season, when the town's hotel capacity is stretched and travel costs run high. The unnamed guest will likely be a talking point between now and the new year.
