Jonah Hauer-King Joins Rose Ayling-Ellis in Code of Silence Season 2 as Filming Begins

Filming is underway on the second season of Code of Silence, and ITV has assembled a cast that pairs a returning lead with a batch of new faces led by Jonah Hauer-King.

Rose Ayling-Ellis reprises her role as Alison Brooks, a deaf woman who can read lips — a skill that pulled her into a police investigation in the first run. Two years on in the story, Alison has now completed formal forensic lip-reading training with the police and is called on for a high-stakes surveillance operation. The case centres on Ruby Dowling, a woman caught up in a money-laundering syndicate. (The Hollywood Reporter)

Hauer-King, known to many from his role as Prince Eric in Disney's live-action The Little Mermaid, joins as DS Daniel Henshaw. He is one of six new cast members announced for the season. Jo Joyner, Sophie McShera, John Hollingworth, Sasha Desouza-Willock and Emily Head round out the fresh arrivals. Desouza-Willock plays DC Lizzie Silver; Head takes on the role of Ruby Dowling.
