Lorena Wiebes takes third stage win at Tour of Britain Women as Kim Le Court holds overall lead
Lorena Wiebes won stage four of the 2026 Tour of Britain Women in a sprint finish at Hay-on-Wye, claiming her third stage victory of the five-day race. The SD Worx-Protime rider crossed the line in 3 hours 41 minutes 13 seconds after a 138.3-kilometre route through the Welsh hills. The stage began in Llanidloes, Powys, and wound south through Rhayader and the Elan Valley before climbing into the Cambrian Mountains. From there the route dipped through Nantmel, Crossgates, Bleddfa and Knighton, eventually flattening toward the book town of Hay-on-Wye on the English border. The terrain offered enough climbing to tire the legs but finished on flat ground — ideal territory for a fast finisher like Wiebes.
Le Court, who rides for AG Insurance–Soudal, leads the general classification — the overall standings that determine the race winner — with one day of racing left.
