ECB Investigates England Bowler Brydon Carse Over Reported Nightclub Incident in Derby
The England and Wales Cricket Board has confirmed it is investigating bowler Brydon Carse over a reported incident at a nightclub in Derby.
Carse, who plays county cricket for Durham, was part of England's squad for the second Test against Pakistan. He was reportedly seen at the venue with England team-mate Matthew Potts, another Durham bowler (BBC Sport).
In a statement, the ECB said it was aware of an incident reported to have taken place in Derby and was currently investigating. A further update will be provided when possible, the board added (BBC Sport).

Carse, 29, has become a regular presence in England's red-ball setup. A right-arm fast-medium bowler — meaning he bowls at a brisk pace without the outright express speed of someone like Mark Wood — he made his Test debut in 2024 and has since been part of England's rotation of seam options across their home and away programmes.
