Serena and Venus Williams Reunite for US Open Doubles After Wild-Card Invitation

This reunion has been a long time in the making. Serena, now 44, returned to professional tennis in the summer of 2026 after a four-year absence. A Wimbledon doubles wild card had been arranged to reunite the sisters on grass, but Serena injured her knee during a singles loss at the All England Club and withdrew from the doubles draw.
