CBS has revealed 21 all-new castaways for Survivor Season 51, launching a phase the network is calling "The Open Era." The full cast was unveiled during a livestream on the official Survivor YouTube channel at 1 p.m. ET on Wednesday, August 26, 2026 — the first look at a group that includes a voice actress who plays Strawberry Shortcake, a former WWE star, and a Yankees executive (Variety).

The new season premieres Wednesday, September 23, from 8:00 to 10:00 p.m. ET/PT on the CBS Television Network (Variety). All 21 players are first-time competitors, with no returning castaways in the mix (TVLine).

Ana Sani, 34, is a voice actress best known for playing Strawberry Shortcake, and she also appeared on-screen in The Boys. Devin Way brings acting credits from Grey's Anatomy and Queer as Folk. Brady Booker is a former WWE star, and Mike Pinsky is a Yankees executive — a lineup that spans entertainment, sports, and business (Variety).

The cast also includes Aaliyah Puglia, a 24-year-old chef from Gloucester City, New Jersey, now living in Providence, Rhode Island; Alexis Levine, a 34-year-old criminal defense attorney from Atlanta, Georgia; and An "Thien An" Nguyen, a 24-year-old medical student from Fort Worth, Texas (Variety).

CBS has branded the season as "The Open Era," though the network has not detailed what specific rule changes or format shifts the title refers to. The label alone signals that the long-running competition — on the air since 2000 — is positioning its 51st cycle as the start of something distinct, rather than another iteration of the same format.
