Don Toliver had been announced as the special guest for the Australia and New Zealand dates, part of a four-show stadium run confirmed by Live Nation in May 2026.
The postponement has also knocked Post Malone out of the Strummingbird Festival. The regional Australian event — with dates in Ballarat on 10 October, Newcastle on 17 October and the Sunshine Coast on 18 October — confirmed that Post Malone would no longer headline due to the tour postponement. Those festival appearances sat alongside the stadium dates as part of the broader October swing through the region.
Ticketing platforms have already reflected the change. Post Malone's Australia dates were removed from the official Ticketmaster page, while the Auckland show was listed as "cancelled," according to Billboard. The distinction between a postponement and a cancellation matters for ticket-holders: a postponement typically means existing tickets will be honoured at a future date, while a cancellation points to refunds.
The Asia leg of the tour was set to begin earlier in September. Post Malone's official website lists a show at Kai Tak Stadium in Hong Kong on 16 September and at the National Stadium in Kaohsiung, Taiwan, on 19 September, with a date alongside Don Toliver at Goyang Stadium in South Korea on 2 October. Billboard's report grouped these Asia dates within the postponed leg, though the site's listing status for individual Asia shows was not specified.
The Big Ass World Tour has been the primary vehicle for Post Malone's live schedule across 2026, spanning multiple continents with stadium-scale production. His UK store continues to list a "Big Ass Stadium Tour Collection" merchandise line, and his next confirmed date on his official website is the YQM Country Fest in Dieppe, Canada, on 29 August — two days from now.
For fans holding tickets across the Asia-Pacific dates, the immediate question is when — or whether — replacement shows will materialise. Live Nation has not yet provided a timeline for new dates. The postponement covers at least seven announced appearances across the region, stretching from Hong Kong in mid-September to Auckland in late October.
That is a large footprint of shows now in limbo, and the silence on a cause leaves ticket-holders, venues and festival organisers waiting for the next move.
