Tom Ford Releases Fall 2026 Ad Campaign Under Haider Ackermann

Tom Ford has released its Fall 2026 advertising campaign, photographed by Stuart Winecoff and featuring a cast spanning runway veterans and newer faces: Liu Wen, Aluel Makuach, Malick Bodian, Kristen McMenamy, Alfredo Ramirez, and Scott Barnhill (WWD).
The campaign lands roughly five months after creative director Haider Ackermann presented the Tom Ford fall 2026 collection in Paris in March. That runway show was staged in a spare white space at Place Vendôme, the historic square in the French capital's first arrondissement (WWD).
Ackermann was named creative director of Tom Ford fashion in September 2024. He has run his own namesake label and held design posts at Berluti, the French leather-goods house owned by LVMH, and at Canada Goose, the Toronto-listed outerwear company, where he remains creative director (WWD). In other words, he is keeping two design directorships at once.
The imagery itself leans into sharp tailoring, stark portraits and what the brand and reviewers have described as an exploration of seduction through character rather than spectacle (Fashion Gone Rogue; The Fashionisto). The photographs pair clean suiting with a mood of confidence and a hint of danger, turning the campaign's six models into distinct personas rather than a uniform line-up.
For anyone tracking the industry calendar, the campaign also marks a pivot point for Ackermann's tenure. Tom Ford, the label, was sold by its founder to Estée Lauder in 2023 in a deal valued at roughly USD 2.8 billion, with the fashion arm licensed to Ermenegildo Zegna Group. Ackermann's appointment followed that transition, and the Fall 2026 collection was his second womenswear outing for the house.
There is more recognition ahead. Ackermann will receive the WWD Honor for Womenswear Designer of the Year at the WWD Honors gala on 27 October at Cipriani South Street in Manhattan (WWD). The timing places an industry award between the campaign release and the next collection on the runway calendar.
The cast itself bridges generations. Kristen McMenamy, a fixture on runways since the early 1990s, appears alongside Liu Wen, one of China's most prominent working models, and Aluel Makuach, a South Sudanese model whose profile has risen through the Paris and Milan shows. Malick Bodian, Alfredo Ramirez and Scott Barnhill round out the line-up. Winecoff, the photographer, is a frequent contributor to fashion editorial and advertising, with a portfolio that spans both European and American houses.
What gives this campaign its particular charge is the combination of a designer still settling into one of fashion's most closely watched jobs and a brand that has changed corporate hands. The imagery has to sell clothes — and also signal that Ackermann's vision is the one that will define Tom Ford's next chapter. The Fall 2026 campaign is the first full advertising statement of that direction.
