ENHYPEN Claim First Billboard 200 No. 1 as Dolly Parton Reenters Top 10 Following Her Death
ENHYPEN have topped the Billboard 200 for the first time, with their eighth mini-album 'THE SIN : BLISS' debuting at No. 1 on the chart dated Sept. 5, 2026, according to Billboard.
The six-member South Korean group — Jungwon, Jay, Jake, Sunghoon, Sunoo and Ni-ki — earned 98,000 equivalent album units in the U.S. in the week ending Aug. 27, 2026, as measured by Luminate, the data firm that powers Billboard's charts. Equivalent album units convert streaming and track sales into album-sale equivalents, combining them with outright purchases.
Of that 98,000 total, album sales accounted for 92,000 — enough to also place 'THE SIN : BLISS' at No. 1 on the Top Album Sales chart. Streaming equivalent album units contributed 6,000, equal to 6.91 million on-demand official streams. Track equivalent album units, which convert individual song sales into album fractions, were negligible.
The album's commercial pull was driven substantially by its availability across more than 30 CD and vinyl variants, each containing collectible items such as photocards, stickers and posters, some of them randomized — a strategy that encourages fans to buy multiple copies.
For ENHYPEN, the No. 1 caps a steady climb. The act had previously peaked at No. 2 on the Billboard 200 twice: with 'THE SIN : VANISH' in January 2026 and 'ROMANCE : UNTOLD' in 2024. 'THE SIN : BLISS' is their seventh top 10 entry on the chart, all posted since 2022. Formed through the 2020 survival competition show I-Land, the group is signed to Belift Lab, formerly a joint venture between CJ ENM and HYBE Corporation. Readers of Billboard also voted 'THE SIN : BLISS' their favourite new music release in a poll published Aug. 21.
Further down the chart, the top 5 reflected both current hits and a posthumous return. Ella Langley's 'Dandelion' rose from No. 5 to No. 2 with 70,000 units. Olivia Rodrigo's 'you seem pretty sad for a girl so in love' climbed to No. 3 with 67,000. Morgan Wallen's 'I'm the Problem' moved to No. 4 with 63,000.
At No. 5, Dolly Parton's greatest hits collection 'Ultimate Dolly Parton' reentered the Billboard 200. Parton died on Aug. 25, 2026, at the age of 80 after a short battle with cancer. The reentry marks her fourth top 10-charted album and the second-highest chart position of her career. Billboard's full chart for the week dated Sept. 5, 2026, will be published on the outlet's website on Sept. 1.
