Noel Gallagher Hints at Oasis 2027 Summer Tour: "We've Got to Do Something"

Noel Gallagher has stoked speculation about a second Oasis reunion tour in 2027, telling England's talkSPORT radio that with no major football tournament next summer, the band needs something to fill the calendar.

Speaking on the Drive program on September 3, Gallagher was asked by co-host Andy Goldstein about the swirling rumours. He pointed first to his younger brother. "It's Liam, isn't it? He's not into it. He's not into Oasis any more," he said, poking fun, before adding: "There's no football tournament the following year, so we've got to do something in the summer" Billboard. Rolling Stone reported that Gallagher's remarks amounted to a hint at a possible 2027 summer tour Rolling Stone.

Oasis have not officially confirmed another round of reunion dates. Their 2025 comeback run, branded Oasis Live '25, comprised 41 sold-out gigs across Europe, North America, South America, Asia and Australia. A spokesperson for the band had not returned Billboard's request for comment at press time.

The rumours have been building for months, fed largely by the Gallagher brothers themselves. Back in October 2025, Liam Gallagher responded to a fan's complaint about a missing song on the reunion setlist by calling it "HALF TIME" — an apparent suggestion that more shows were coming Billboard. In December 2025, he told fans there would be no further Oasis shows in 2026 but indicated the band might return in 2027 Billboard. By July 2026, he appeared to confirm more shows were in the works for 2027, while telling fans not to expect any new Oasis music Billboard.

Liam's social media activity has sent mixed signals. On August 24, he tweeted directly at Noel: "ffs RKID announce the tour we're all losing our minds." A day later, he posted an all-caps message reading "IM OUT OF HERE LOOK AFTER YOURSELVES AND REMEMBER DONT TALK TO S–T C–TS" and seemingly quit social media. He had previously written on X that a second reunion run was "[It's not HAPPENING]" — only for The Independent to report that his latest post had fanned the flames once again The Independent.

One venue keeps surfacing in the rumour mill: Knebworth. Oasis played to 250,000 people over two nights there in 1996, and The Sun reported in July that the band would play six nights at the site over a three-week period in September 2027. That report remains unconfirmed.

For fans who caught the 2025 reunion — which opened its Latin American leg in Mexico City on September 12, 2025, the Gallagher brothers' first appearance in the country in 17 years — Noel's latest comments are the most direct signal yet from either sibling that the stage is not being packed away for good. Whether that translates into announced dates, Knebworth or otherwise, is something only an official confirmation will settle.
