Jessica Mulroney launches private members' club The Haus of Her as Meghan Markle unveils As Ever's Reserve Brut

Jessica Mulroney has announced the launch of The Haus of Her, a private members' club and community space aimed at "women in the middle of a defining transition," as the stylist's former friend Meghan Markle unveiled a new sparkling wine under her own lifestyle brand on the same day.
Mulroney, 46, co-founded The Haus of Her with businesswoman Val Bryden. The club is already open for membership applications, charging 39 Canadian dollars (£20) a month, which includes a monthly subscription box. Its first listed event is a make-your-own-perfume session on September 15 at Toronto's Orris Labs (Hello!).
Meghan Markle, meanwhile, announced the launch of Reserve Brut, a sparkling wine under her As Ever brand, on September 3, 2026. The announcement came via an Instagram caption beginning "A new chapter to celebrate." Reserve Brut is crafted in the traditional Méthode Champenoise — the bottle-fermentation technique used in Champagne production — and sourced from Napa Valley. It follows As Ever's earlier releases of a Napa Valley rosé and a Marlborough sauvignon blanc. Markle launched As Ever in 2024 (Hello!).
The timing places Markle's wine announcement just over a week after she and her family arrived in Birmingham, England, to begin their new life there.
Mulroney and Markle were once closely linked. Mulroney's twin sons, John and Brian, carried the train of Markle's bridal gown at the 2018 royal wedding, and her daughter Ivy served as a bridesmaid. The friendship cooled in 2020, when influencer Sasha Exeter publicly called out Mulroney for "white privilege." Following the controversy, Mulroney was dropped by Good Morning America and the Canadian network CTV, where she hosted the wedding-themed reality show I Do Redo (Hello!).
Mulroney's Instagram bio now lists her as a "Wellness Enthusiast Founder" and stylist, noting a weekly "AB finisher" collaboration with @daniellemilner9 (Instagram). Prior to the 2020 fallout, she had a retail partnership with Hudson's Bay Company as spokesperson for CORE Life, a lifestyle brand launching at the department store (Fashion Magazine). In February 2020, Mulroney denied reports that she had registered the website sussexglobalcharities.com through her charity, Shoebox (People).
Both ventures now sit in the same lifestyle and wellness space, with Mulroney's club targeting women navigating life transitions and Markle's As Ever building out a food and drink catalogue. Whether the overlapping launch date was coincidence or calculation, the two women who once stood together at Windsor are now building consumer brands in parallel — separately.
