Per-device pricing varies by hardware tier, meaning more expensive models cost more to cover. AppleCare+ for the iPhone 17 Pro Max is listed at $14 per month or $140 a year. The tradeoff is geographic availability and single-bill coupling. If one device leaves the household, the bundle still makes sense for the remaining two. If you own only one Apple device, per-device AppleCare+ remains cheaper.
Looking at what this means for buyers with longer refresh cycles, the battery threshold and unlimited accidental damage incidents matter more than the monthly delta. An 80 percent battery replacement policy extends useful life for iPhones, iPads and MacBooks without a separate battery negotiation.
