Moveria takes international sales on No Money No Honey ahead of Camden premiere

Paris-based Moveria Film has acquired international sales rights to No Money No Honey ahead of its world premiere in Maine, Deadline reported.
International sales means the company will sell the film territory by territory to distributors outside its home market. The deal was struck before the documentary meets its first public audience.
The 80-minute film is directed by Nicole Costa. It centres on Maxima Mauricio, an Argentine non-binary sex worker living in New York, and is built around personal VHS tapes Mauricio recorded between 1991 and 2004.
Daniela Camino of Mimbre Films produced the film with Costa. The script is credited to Costa, Camino and Melisa Miranda, according to Deadline.
On the deal, Lucas Besnard and Yasmin Porangaba negotiated for Moveria Film, while Camino represented Mimbre Films. Such early sales agreements are common on the festival circuit, where a sales agent comes on board to handle buyer interest around a premiere.
No Money No Honey will launch in the Cinematic Vision Award competition at the Camden International Film Festival. The festival runs 17 to 20 September in mid-coast Maine.
Moveria Film was founded in 2025. The pickup adds a festival-bound documentary to the young company's slate as it heads into Camden with fresh material for buyers.
What makes this stand out is the archive at its heart. Three decades of self-shot tape give the film a long personal timeline, from the early 1990s to the mid-2000s, before it reaches the screen in 2026.
