Meghan Markle shares family film for Prince Harry's 42nd birthday
Meghan Markle marked Prince Harry's 42nd birthday on 15 September with an Instagram video montage of him with their children.
The caption was short. "He's simply the best. Happy birthday, my love." Hello Magazine
The film centres on Harry as a father. It shows him with Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet in a mix of colour and black-and-white clips, at home and outdoors.
One black-and-white image shows Harry walking hand in hand with Archie and Lilibet. A dog is close by. Another moment shows the family sitting together in an open-sided vehicle, with Harry leaning down to kiss Lilibet's head.
The montage also includes a snowy scene. Harry is on skis beside a small companion in pink and purple winter gear. A separate black-and-white shot shows Meghan and Harry kissing between rows of vines, with the children visible behind them on a grassy path.
The birthday post followed a video shared earlier in the week showing Harry, Archie and Lilibet in the UK. The Times
Archie is 7 and Lilibet is 5 as of September 2026. Today Archie was born on 6 May 2019 and turned 7 on 6 May this year, when Meghan also posted a photo tribute for him. Lilibet Diana was named after Queen Elizabeth and Princess Diana.
Meghan and Harry have kept regular family milestones on Instagram this year. In May, Archie and Lilibet gave their parents handmade clay bowls and decorated poster boards for their eighth wedding anniversary.
For fans, this means a rare look at the children. Faces are mostly turned away or partly seen. The focus stays on small, ordinary moments: holding hands, a kiss on the head, snow boots and vines.
