ADÉLA has sent her debut full-length studio album PRIMA straight to No. 1 on two Billboard sales charts. The set also entered the Billboard 200 at No. 4 on the chart dated Sept. 19, 2026, as reported by Billboard.

PRIMA opens at No. 1 on Top Album Sales, which ranks albums by purchases alone, and at No. 1 on Vinyl Albums, which tracks vinyl purchases. The No. 4 position on the Billboard 200 covers the wider U.S. album market, where streaming, sales and track activity are combined.

The album totalled 56,000 equivalent album units, the measure that converts streams and sales into album sales, in the U.S. in the week ending Sept. 10, according to Luminate. That figure included 31,000 in album sales. Vinyl accounted for 12,000 of those sales, as reported by Billboard.

The No. 4 entry is the highest for a full-length debut studio album in 2026. It is also ADÉLA’s first appearance on the Billboard 200.

ADÉLA is a Slovak singer-songwriter. She took part in Dream Academy in 2023, the reality competition series that launched the group KATSEYE. She signed to Capitol Records in 2025 and released her first EP, The Provocateur.

PRIMA contains 11 tracks. Ahead of its release, Billboard had picked six ADÉLA songs for new listeners to hear first.

Two tracks from the album appear on the Billboard Hot 100, the U.S. songs chart. ‘Ain’t in LA’ jumped from No. 57 to No. 30, giving ADÉLA her first top 40 hit. ‘Nicole Kidman’ debuted at No. 45.

For fans, this means a debut carried strongly by purchases. Sales made up more than half the first-week total. Vinyl alone made up more than a third of the sales. That is a loud start for a first full-length album.
