Hilary Duff closes U.K. tour leg with 2027 tease and September countdown
Hilary Duff closed the U.K. leg of her Lucky Me tour in London on Sept. 15 with butterfly confetti, a countdown clock and a tease of more dates in 2027.
The final encore was “What Dreams Are Made Of” from The Lizzie McGuire Movie soundtrack. As Duff took her bows, the stage screen showed a countdown to Sept. 22, a clock also posted on her official site, according to Billboard.
The crowd got the message. Burgundy butterfly-shaped confetti fell with the words “2027 More Dates Loading”. Pink confetti carried a second message: “I Love You”.
The London closer had its own local touches. Duff drank a pint of Pimm’s on stage and wore a T-shirt honouring Diana, Princess of Wales.
The Lucky Me tour is Duff’s first major tour in more than 18 years. It supports her sixth studio album, Luck... or Something, and has played sold-out shows in North America, the U.K. and Ireland.
That album debuted at No. 3 on the Billboard 200, the chart that ranks the most popular albums in the United States. It was Duff’s first album since 2015’s Breath In. Breathe Out.
What comes next is already partly mapped. The tour moves to New Zealand and Australia in October, then to Canada from Jan. 22, 2027 at Rogers Arena in Vancouver. The Canadian run also includes Calgary, Edmonton, Saskatoon, Winnipeg, Hamilton, Ottawa, Montreal and Halifax, followed by Mexico City shows on Feb. 12 and 13 and a Guadalajara show on Feb. 15.
For fans, this means the Sept. 22 date is the one to watch. No new cities or venues have been confirmed yet. The confetti points to 2027.
