Chase Sui Wonders Joins Aniston and Dinklage in Holiday Comedy Naughty
Chase Sui Wonders is heading to the North Pole with Jennifer Aniston.
Wonders is set to join Aniston and Peter Dinklage in Naughty, a holiday comedy from Universal Pictures, as reported by Deadline. Olivia Wilde will direct from a script by Jimmy Warden.
Aniston plays Mallory. Dinklage plays Santa Claus. Mallory is seeking custody of her son and plans to find Santa to testify in her divorce hearing.
Sources told Deadline that Wonders will play a friend who joins Mallory on the trip north. The part keeps plot details tight for now. It puts three generations of comedy and drama on one sleigh ride.
The project began as a spec script, a script written without a studio commission, by Warden. Universal has dated the film for cinemas on 5 November 2027. That places it in the early holiday corridor, when studios position family titles ahead of Thanksgiving in the United States.
LuckyChap, the production company behind the film, will produce alongside Wilde and Warden. Sara Scott and Jacqueline Garell will oversee the project for Universal, managing the film through development and production.
For Wonders, the role continues a fast-moving run on screen. She plays Seth Rogen's assistant in the Apple series The Studio. The performance earned her a Gotham TV Award nomination for Best Supporting Actress in a Comedy Series.
The Studio won 13 of its 23 Emmy nominations, including best comedy series. Its second season will return in 2027.
She has worked with Wilde before. The two appeared opposite Cooper Hoffman in Gregg Araki's I Want Your Sex, which Magnolia Pictures released on 31 July 2026. Wonders is also set to star in an upcoming A24 film written and directed by Jeremy Saulnier.
Her slate also includes Samo Lives, a biopic of artist Jean-Michel Basquiat written, directed and produced by Julius Onah. She is represented by UTA and Sloane Offer Weber & Dern.
What makes this stand out is the pairing. Aniston leads a Christmas story centred on Santa Claus, Dinklage takes on the red suit, and Wonders arrives with fresh awards-season attention. Cameras have not rolled yet, but the North Pole trip now has its trio.
