Grand Theft Auto VI to get 34-song album on same day as game launch
Atlantic Records and Rockstar Games have announced Grand Theft Auto VI: The Album, a collection of 34 new songs due on Nov. 19, the same day the video game launches.
The announcement was made on Sept. 17, tying the music release directly to the arrival of the game, Billboard reported. The album is available for pre-order now, and six of its tracks are already streaming ahead of the full release.
The early songs show the range of artists involved. Yung Lean teams up with Future and Metro Boomin on "That's It", while Travis Scott performs "RHYNO". PinkPantheress, Fred again.. and Étienne de Crécy appear together on "Sexy Magic".
"RHYNO" was produced by Guy-Manuel de Homem-Christo of Daft Punk with CA7RIEL and Paco Amoroso. The other songs confirmed so far are Morgan Wallen's "The Last Thing You Need", Rauw Alejandro's "Macacoa 2000" and Keith Richards' "Bright Lights, Big City".
Atlantic Records and Rockstar Games said the songs were organised to capture the energy of Vice City and Leonida, the fictional world where the game is set. The album will sit alongside the next iteration of the game's in-game radio stations, score and other musical touchpoints.
Grand Theft Auto VI itself is set to launch on Nov. 19, 2026, for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S, according to Rockstar Games. The company, which is listed as both developer and publisher, said the game is available for pre-order at rockstargames.com/VI.
For fans, this means two arrivals on one date. Players will be able to explore the new version of Vice City while the full 34-song album lands outside the game.
