Like Nastya Signs Content Development Deal With Disney

YouTube star Like Nastya has entered into a content development deal with Disney. The agreement was first reported on 17 September 2026 by Variety. It covers both existing videos and brand new shows.
The scale is large. Like Nastya runs more than 25 YouTube channels with more than 450 million subscribers in total, available in 22 languages. The brand was founded in 2016 by Anna Radzinskaia, Nastya's mother.
Under the deal, Disney will present a curated collection of Like Nastya library content, meaning episodes already released on YouTube. The two sides also plan to develop an original animated preschool series for Disney Jr., its channel for very young children, and Disney+, its streaming service. A separate slate of live-action content, meaning shows filmed with real people rather than animation, is planned for kids, tweens, teens and families.
This is not Nastya's first move beyond daily YouTube uploads. In October 2024, Viral Nation announced two new original Like Nastya series in partnership with Wind Sun Sky Entertainment, according to Business Wire. That slate included one live-action series and one animated series.
Nastya has also worked with Disney before on charity events. Disney said its Make-A-Wish work brought together top creators Mark Rober, Like Nastya and PrestonPlayz to help make dreams come true, as reported by Disney. A Halloween wish event hosted by Disney, MrBeast and YouTube featured the same three creators.
The Disney deal follows another Disney push into creator video. On 5 August 2026, The Walt Disney Company and TikTok announced a first-of-its-kind global short-form content-sharing deal, meaning short vertical videos shared across both platforms. That arrangement taps TikTok's creator community to create fan-led content around Disney's characters and stories.
For families, this means a familiar YouTube favourite could soon sit alongside Disney's regular line-up. Children who know the songs, play-alongs and family skits may soon find her in the Disney Jr. schedule and on streaming. Short version: same Nastya. New slots.
