Quiver takes North American rights to Eternal Return, sets December cinema release
Quiver Distribution has licensed North American rights to Eternal Return and dated it for cinemas on 4 December 2026, Deadline reported as an exclusive.
North America, in distribution terms, means the United States and Canada. Quiver plans a cinema release first, followed by a digital rollout, according to the same report. The date is set.
The film stars Naomi Scott and Kit Harington, and was written and directed by Yaniv Raz, Deadline reported. It is a Macro Film Studios and BK Studios picture. Sonoya Mizuno, Jay Lycurgo, Simon Kunz and Simon Callow co-star alongside the two leads.
Scott plays a character named Cass, a detail first reported when the cast wrapped shooting, Deadline noted in December 2023. The new distribution announcement does not change that line-up. It puts the finished film on the release calendar.
On the business side, Larry Greenberg and TJ Smith negotiated the deal for Quiver, while UMG is handling international sales — the job of selling distribution rights territory by territory outside North America — Deadline reported. That split is common for independent films. One buyer takes the domestic cinemas, another team sells the rest of the world.
Eternal Return arrives with festival history. It was presented as a world premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival, and is listed as a United Kingdom-United States production, according to TIFF. The film runs 115 minutes, Collider reported.
For audiences, this means a clear path to screens. A December date places the film in the year-end corridor, when awards contenders and holiday releases crowd cinemas. The theatrical window — the period a film plays only in cinemas before moving to digital — will come first, with home viewing to follow.
The production credits trace back further. Producers include Moby, Michael Reuter and Charles D. King, Collider reported. Village Roadshow was also involved alongside Macro and BK Studios at the production stage, Deadline reported in 2023. The latest report positions the Macro Film Studios and BK Studios picture as complete and sold for North America.
