Peters, Criss and DeBose to Headline Sold-Out Fetch Pet Gala

Bernadette Peters, Darren Criss and Ariana DeBose will headline the second annual Fetch Pet Gala on Monday, Oct. 19, at The Carlyle in New York City. The evening is hosted by Fetch Pet Insurance, which confirmed the line-up and venue details to Billboard.
The night begins on the Green Carpet with shelter dogs ready for adoption from North Shore Animal League America. Guests then move into Café Carlyle for dinner and performances from all three headliners. The show is sold out. It closes with the Fetch Pet After Party and a set from an unannounced surprise guest.
Last year, that surprise slot went to John Legend. The inaugural gala featured Peters alongside Sutton Foster and Leslie Odom Jr. Organisers say this year’s edition sold out months ago, well ahead of the October date.
The three headliners all bring major awards history. Peters is a three-time Tony Award winner, the top US honour for theatre. Criss has won both a Tony Award and a Primetime Emmy Award for television. DeBose won an Oscar for her supporting role in the West Side Story film remake, earned a Tony nomination for Summer: The Donna Summer Musical and has hosted the Tony Awards three times.
Peters has co-hosted the Tony Awards twice. Criss co-hosted The Tony Awards: Act One in 2025. Those stage links run through the charity list, which includes Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS, led by executive director Danny Whitman, alongside Broadway Barks, Wags & Walks and North Shore Animal League America.
Fetch Pet Insurance, led by president and chief executive Paul Guyardo, says it has raised more than $14.6 million for charitable organisations and initiatives supporting animals and the people who care for them, as reported by Billboard.
What makes this stand out is the running order. The adoptable dogs walk first. The stars follow. For animal lovers, it means a night of music with a direct link to rescue work, from the opening carpet to the final after-party song.
