Alexander McQueen is showing in London again, Marks & Spencer is on the catwalk for the first time, and Burberry will close the week.

The spring 2027 edition of London Fashion Week, the five-day showcase of collections for the season ahead, runs from September 17 to September 21, 2026. It wraps up on Sept. 21 with the Burberry show, Women's Wear Daily reported.

The British Fashion Council, the body that runs London Fashion Week and curates its schedule, waived fees for shows on the calendar as part of a plan to spur growth. The September 2026 programme includes 47 catwalk shows, 23 presentations and 10 digital activations, according to the British Fashion Council.

McQueen is back. The British luxury house is showing on the London calendar for the first time in years for spring 2027. Its Spring/Summer 2027 show is scheduled for Sunday, September 20, 2026, according to the London Evening Standard.

The house is also working again with jeweller Shaun Leane after 16 years, including Leane's new bespoke brand 12. Leane made pieces for McQueen under its founder in the 1990s and 2000s.

Mulberry is reintroducing ready-to-wear, the main clothing line as against bags and accessories, with designer Christopher Kane. The official schedule lists MULBERRY BY CHRISTOPHER KANE as an invite-only womenswear catwalk. Another evening slot goes to PÚCAI PRE-SPRING 27 CATWALK: BLUE FANTASIA, listed as a womenswear event.

Lulu Guinness, the British accessories label, is making a London comeback. She is turning her signature lip motif into a line-up of clutches with a Surrealist twist.

Marks & Spencer, the British high-street retailer, will make its debut on the schedule for Spring/Summer 2027. It is staging an in-season runway show, meaning clothes on sale now rather than months ahead, featuring model Erin O'Connor. The show marks 100 years in fashion for the retailer and its push into the United States market.

The company plans to keep showing during London Fashion Week. It has begun selling at select Nordstrom stores in the US. It brought Zalando, the German e-commerce group, on board as its European partner. It has also been working on campaigns with actor Gillian Anderson.

Elsewhere on the schedule, Indian contemporary label Lovebirds has joined the London line-up. H&M, the Swedish high-street chain owned by H & M Hennes & Mauritz, collaborated with photographer Nick Knight on an interactive show that allowed audience members to become runway models.

Simone Rocha, the Irish designer based in London, is keeping her women's show in London for spring 2027. At Paul Costelloe, the Irish tailoring house, William Costelloe has taken over as creative director following the death last year of namesake designer Paul Costelloe. He is switching the focus to luxe, tailored classics in Irish linen, wool and silk.

For shoppers, this means a London week that mixes luxury names with high-street regulars on the same calendar. The clothes range from one-off show pieces to versions that reach stores within weeks.
