Presley Walker Gerber, son of Cindy Crawford and Rande Gerber, dies aged 27
Presley Walker Gerber, the model and only son of Cindy Crawford and Rande Gerber, has died aged 27, a representative for the family confirmed to Deadline on 21 September 2026.
The confirmation was brief. The family asked for privacy during a very difficult and painful time, according to Deadline. No cause of death has been made public.
Gerber was signed to IMG Models, one of the large international agencies that represent fashion models for editorial and runway work, Deadline reported. His modelling career began with a 2015 shoot by photographer Bruce Weber. He went on to walk in fashion weeks around the globe.
He also appeared alongside his mother in a 2018 Pepsi advertisement, Deadline reported. Crawford, who rose to prominence as a supermodel in the 1980s and 1990s, shared the screen with her son in the spot. His father, Rande Gerber, is a businessman and former model.
His younger sister is model and actor Kaia Gerber, according to Deadline. Crawford, Rande Gerber and Presley last posed together publicly in 2024, according to Yahoo.
In 2019, Presley Gerber was arrested for drink-driving in Beverly Hills and sentenced to three years' probation, Deadline reported. He was 19 at the time of the arrest, which was first reported in early January after a stop on 30 December, according to Us Weekly. He was also ordered to complete a drink-driving programme.
In December 2025, Gerber spoke about his mental health struggles in a video posted to Instagram on 1 December, as reported by People the following day. The details of that video remain a matter of his own account.
