BTS live broadcasts lead HYBE Cine Fest's first global cinema run

BTS will beam two South American stadium shows live into cinemas worldwide this October, headlining a week-long festival of K-pop on the big screen.
Trafalgar Releasing and South Korean music company HYBE are staging HYBE Cine Fest as a global event for the first time, running Oct. 24-31 in more than 60 territories, according to Variety. Tickets go on sale Sept. 30.
The festival began in Latin America in 2024 before expanding across Asia in 2025. This year takes it to North America, Europe and beyond in a single coordinated run.
The programme holds six presentations in total. That includes two live broadcasts from the BTS World Tour “Arirang,” concert films from Seventeen, Tomorrow X Together and Enhypen, and an interactive show, “HYBE Cheering Party” in 3D.
The first BTS broadcast comes from Buenos Aires. It is the group’s first performance in Argentina. It will screen Oct. 24 in the Americas and Oct. 25 in the rest of the world, with cinemas carrying the concert live or close to live across time zones.
The second BTS broadcast comes from São Paulo. It captures the closing night of the Latin American leg of the tour. It will screen Oct. 30 in the Americas and Oct. 31 elsewhere.
The other concert films follow the wider HYBE roster. Seventeen’s film follows the group’s “New” world tour. Tomorrow X Together’s film documents “Act : Tomorrow,” the group’s fourth global tour. Enhypen’s film returns to the Seoul concert that opened the “Blood Saga” tour. The Cheering Party invites audiences to join in with light sticks and chants, presented in 3D.
For fans, this means a clear choice of dates. The two BTS broadcasts are tied to specific nights by region. The tour films and the Cheering Party can play across the full Oct. 24-31 window.
Cinemas will also lean into the gathering. A Special Location programme with fan zones, merchandise stands and pop-up stores is expanding into North America and Europe this year, after earlier runs elsewhere.
Trafalgar Releasing, which distributes event cinema, one-off concerts, theatre shows and fan events made for the big screen, operates in more than 15,000 cinemas across 132 countries, Variety reported.
