Harry Styles has a second video in YouTube's billion-views club.

"As It Was" has passed 1 billion views on the platform, Billboard reported on 23 September 2026. The total keeps climbing. A view counter on the upload now displays more than 1,002,635,219 views.

The clip premiered on 31 March 2022 on the HarryStylesVEVO channel, which has 15.5 million subscribers. It runs for 2 minutes 46 seconds and was directed by Tanu Muino. The video follows Styles through a grey studio space before he joins a group dance sequence in a red boiler suit.

It is the second Styles video to reach the mark. The first was 2017's "Sign of the Times", the song that introduced his solo career after One Direction.

"As It Was" was released as the lead single to his third studio album, "Harry's House". The single proved durable on the charts. It spent 15 weeks at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100, the United States singles chart, and 15 weeks at No. 1 on the Billboard Global 200, which ranks songs on worldwide streaming and sales.

The album had its own strong run. "Harry's House" spent two weeks at No. 1 on the Billboard 200, the US albums chart. It then won album of the year at the 2023 Grammys, the annual awards organised by the Recording Academy.

The video also earned major awards attention without taking the top prize. It was nominated for video of the year at the 2022 MTV Video Music Awards. The award went to Taylor Swift's "All Too Well (10 Minute Version)".

What makes this stand out is the timespan. Four years after release, the "As It Was" upload is still adding plays at a scale most new releases do not reach in a lifetime. For fans arriving late, the official upload remains available to watch at YouTube.
