Les Deux pays for colourful reboot of two Paris basketball courts

Les Deux, the Copenhagen-based men's fashion brand, has paid for a full refurbishment of two public basketball courts in Paris.
The work cost about EUR 65,000, WWD reported. The courts are at Terrain de Sport Glaciere in the 13th arrondissement, one of the city's administrative districts on the south-east side.
The site sits beneath elevated metro tracks. The playing surfaces have been repainted in a bright, colourful design. The courts stay free. They are open to the public.
An official opening with the local mayor is planned for a later date. No date has been announced.
The Paris refurbishment is the brand's third Home Court project. The first was in New York in 2023, followed by Copenhagen in 2025.
In New York, the brand invested USD 70,000 to refurbish two community courts, according to an earlier announcement carried by FashionUnited. The Paris project continues that pattern of court repairs linked to cities where the label sells clothes.
The projects run through Legacy, the brand's programme for community work. The idea is simple. As Les Deux puts it: "Wherever we have a home, we want to give back a Home Court," as stated on Les Deux.
France is one of those homes. Les Deux has around 120 retail partners in the country. It has also opened a flagship store, its main shop in a city, in the Marais district of Paris. That shop is its first flagship outside Scandinavia.
The brand was co-founded by Andreas von der Heide. Paris is now its most visible Legacy site, with two full courts under the metro line rather than a single court.
What makes this stand out for local players is access. Court time in central Paris can be hard to find. These two courts keep their public status, so anyone can walk on and play.
