A24 names cast for Anglo-Irish horror No One Is Coming

A24 has named the cast for No One Is Coming, a new Anglo-Irish horror film from Ronan Corrigan, according to Deadline on 24 September 2026. The announcement confirms the title, the film-maker behind it and the four actors who will lead it. The story itself remains secret.
Louis McCartney will star. He is joined by Jessica Reynolds, Sky Yang and Gabriel Nagy. The four make up the ensemble, meaning the group of leading actors, revealed so far, Deadline reported. No character names were disclosed, and no details about who they play were shared.
Corrigan directs the film from a script he co-wrote with Hope Elliott Kemp. Directing means leading the performances and shaping the look and sound on screen. Co-writing means the pair created the story and dialogue together. The credit puts Corrigan at the centre of the project, as both writer and director.
The film is described as Anglo-Irish, meaning a production involving Britain and Ireland. Horror here means a film designed to frighten and unsettle its audience. A24 is the company behind the announcement, presenting the title and the team together as the first public details.
Film4 developed and co-financed the film, meaning it helped prepare the project and helped pay for it. Screen Ireland provided additional financing, meaning extra money toward the production. That pair covers the funding side of the film.
Plan B is producing alongside Wild Atlantic, according to Deadline. Producing means running the practical side of making the film, from hiring crew to managing the shoot. Each name represents a separate job, from paying for the work to performing it.
Plot and character details are being kept under wraps. Nothing about the story, the setting or the roles was released.
For fans, this means the picture is still forming. The title, the director, the writers, the stars and the backers are known. What happens on screen is not.
What makes this stand out is the chain behind it. A horror film reaches viewers after money, management and casting are locked. Here those pieces were announced together: a studio name, two funding bodies, two production companies, a director-writer team and four leads. For now, those jobs are assigned and the story stays private.
