A centre for developing handmade paper leads a new student showcase from the School of Design and Architecture at Swinburne University of Technology.

The collection was published by Dezeen School Shows on 24 September 2026. School Shows are digital showcases of architecture and design student work, a format that covers graduate shows, degree shows and end-of-year projects.

The Swinburne line-up also includes a tool designed to support people living with dementia. Another project is a mural about the role of women and technology in the design industry.

The list includes Park Weave by Brendan David O'Mahony and Pablo de Lascurain Zambrano. It is listed as a Bachelor of Design (Architecture) project.

Dezeen has previously presented its Swinburne showcase as a partnership with the university. That earlier edition brought together six student design projects.

What makes this worth a scroll is the range. Paper, care, public art and architecture sit side by side. No gallery ticket needed. You can browse each project online and see how students frame the brief in their own words.
