Gnarls Barkley Say Reunion Tour Will Feature CeeLo Green Without Danger Mouse

Only one half of Gnarls Barkley will walk on stage for the group's reunion tour. Singer CeeLo Green will perform without producer Danger Mouse on the To Whom It Still Concerns run, the duo has now confirmed.
The clarification came in a Sept. 23 statement posted on the group's official Instagram account, @gnarlsbarkleyofficial. Written in capital letters, it said "DANGER MOUSE IS NOT PERFORMING" in order to avoid misunderstandings or disappointments for ticket holders, according to Billboard.
The message described Danger Mouse as Green's producer and business partner, not a performing artist. Green added that his bandmate "will be there in spirit" and said, "We want no misunderstandings" about the line-up, as reported by NME.
Promoter Live Nation has since revised the billing to avoid confusion. The tour poster now reads "CeeLo Green Performing Gnarls Barkley." The amended tour announcement states plainly that "Danger Mouse will not be appearing."
Green said he will perform songs from three Gnarls Barkley albums on the dates. He has not named a set list, only the scope of the material the shows will draw from.
The North American run, organised by Live Nation, covers nine cities. It is scheduled to start on Nov. 5 at the Masonic in San Francisco and end on Nov. 28 at the House of Blues in Chicago. Other stops listed are Los Angeles, Atlanta, Detroit, Boston, Silver Spring in Maryland, Toronto and New York.
Green has also booked four Gnarls Barkley shows in the United Kingdom in December. Details of venues and on-sale dates for those shows were not included in the clarification.
The run had been announced as the duo's first tour in 18 years. For fans, this means the reunion is about the songs performed live by Green, rather than a joint appearance by both members.
