Oasis Reunion Film Lands Streaming Date on Disney+ and Hulu

Oasis fans will not have to wait long to relive the reunion. Don't Look Back in Anger, the documentary charting Noel and Liam Gallagher performing together again for the first time in 15 years, will premiere exclusively on Disney+ and Hulu on Oct. 9, according to Variety.
The film centres on that long-awaited return to the same stage. Cameras follow the two Gallaghers as they play together after a 15-year gap. For anyone who missed the tour chatter, it is a straight record of a reunion years in the making.
Subscribers get more than the feature itself. Disney+ and Hulu will also carry new footage from a joint interview with Noel and Liam alongside the documentary. The platforms will host full performances of “Wonderwall” and “Slide Away” as companion pieces.
The streaming date follows a cinema-first path. Oasis: Don't Look Back In Anger held its world premiere at the Venice Film Festival, a large international film event in Italy where new films are first shown to press and industry. It then had a theatrical release in the U.K. and Ireland, meaning it played in cinemas before moving to streaming.
Behind the camera, the credits bring together music-documentary and drama experience. Writer Steven Knight created the story shape, with Dylan Southern and Will Lovelace directing. Sam Bridger and Guy Heeley are listed as producers, with Magna Studios producing the film after a commission from Sean Doyle, Disney+ EMEA vice-president for unscripted, the department that handles documentaries and reality shows.
For fans, this means the cinema run now has a home-viewing date. Viewers in Disney+ and Hulu territories can watch the full film, the interview material and the two complete songs in one place from Oct. 9.
