V10 adds three veteran sellers ahead of MIPCOM in Cannes

V10 Entertainment has hired three veteran sellers as strategic partners ahead of MIPCOM, the international television market in Cannes.
Michelle Payne, Matt Vassallo and Poh Lin Ho join the company in the new roles. All three will be in Cannes with V10, as reported by Deadline.
Payne is based in London and will lead sales in EMEA, meaning Europe, the Middle East and Africa, for V10. She was most recently a consultant for Fox while it was building its international distribution arm. Before that she was senior vice president at ViacomCBS, the predecessor to Paramount, where she oversaw sales in EMEA.
Vassallo works out of Los Angeles. He was most recently head of series acquisitions and distribution strategy at Amazon MGM Studios Distribution. He previously served as executive vice president of international distribution at MGM Studios prior to its acquisition by Amazon.
Ho spent well over three decades at Malaysian content group Vision Plus Entertainment before exiting her chief executive post in 2023. Her remit covers Asia.
Samantha Cooper and Josh Vodnoy remain in place. The pair are V10's co-heads of global licensing and distribution and continue to lead the sales operation.
They arrive with a full slate to sell. V10 will bring America's Funniest Home Videos, America's Funniest People, Hooligans: The ARCH Racing Project with Keanu Reeves and Gard Hollinger, and MotoAmerica live races to Cannes.
V10 was founded in 2022. It comprises Venture 10 Studio Group, Fishbowl Media, Vin Di Bona Productions and Clip Tiger. The company says it holds a comedy catalogue of more than 3.1 million digital assets and produces over 250 hours a year for 44 owned and operated FAST and digital channels, with FAST meaning free ad-supported streaming channels that viewers watch without a subscription.
The group has been building out that base. It acquired digital rights management and production company Towerhouse. It also took on global distribution rights to America's Funniest Home Videos and named Carter Skeath, who joined from Paramount, as president, as reported by Deadline. It later partnered with Shorthand Studios to expand the online presence of America's Funniest Home Videos, as reported by Variety.
What makes this stand out is experience. For a four-year-old seller, three hires with decades across Hollywood, London and Kuala Lumpur buy instant contacts in the market hall.
