Spotify has chosen Becca Hatch and Lewis Love as its newest RADAR artists for Australia and New Zealand.

The selection was reported by Billboard on September 30, 2026. RADAR is Spotify's emerging artist program. It launched globally in 2020 to give developing acts extra editorial and promotional support.

Hatch is an R&B singer of Kamilaroi and Samoan heritage. She is working toward her EP Black Flower, a release shorter than a full album, due on February 3, 2027 via G.Y.R.O. The date gives fans a clear marker for her next step.

Her live and awards record is already busy. In 2024, she performed her verse on "We Pray" with Coldplay across two sold-out shows at Sydney's Accor Stadium. She won best breakthrough artist at the 2024 NIMA Awards. She then received the APRA Professional Development Award in 2025 and earned an ARIA nomination for Best Soul/R&B for "Garden (Bang Goes the Drum)".

Love is a country-leaning Australian singer-songwriter. His forthcoming album will be his first released through a label deal with EMPIRE. A label deal of this kind typically covers distribution, marketing and release planning, while the artist continues to write and record.

Spotify marked the new selections with a public push in Melbourne. Hatch and Love appeared on billboard promotions on Bourke Street in central Melbourne from September 25 to September 27. The displays launched their RADAR campaigns.

They join a growing local alumni list. Previous RADAR artists from Australia and New Zealand include Teen Jesus and the Jean Teasers, Blusher, Genesis Owusu, Larissa Lambert, Baker Boy and Royel Otis. The list spans guitar music, pop, hip-hop and R&B.

The program centres on its RADAR AU & NZ playlist, which Spotify describes as local artists to watch handpicked by its editors. The playlist cover currently features Cenobia, according to Spotify. Hatch's artist page lists 140,000 monthly listeners, according to Spotify.

For fans, this means both names will be easier to spot in the next few months. New music, playlists and live dates will carry the RADAR tag. It is a simple prompt to press play. The announcement puts two distinct sounds side by side.
