Meghan Markle and Hollywood agent Ari Emanuel have parted ways.

The Duchess of Sussex split from Emanuel in 2025, according to PEOPLE. HELLO! described the break as coming a few months ago.

His answer was blunt. Asked by The Sunday Times about Markle's future career, Emanuel replied: "Here's the great thing: I don't have to think about that any more," HELLO! reported.

Markle signed with WME, the talent agency, in April 2023. Variety first reported the signing on 27 April 2023.

Emanuel stopped working on her account after just three months, HELLO! reported, citing Variety. Markle stayed signed to WME after he stepped back.

WME told PEOPLE it still represents Markle and Archewell after the split from Emanuel. A spokesperson gave the same message to Page Six.

What makes this stand out is how short the hands-on period was. Emanuel was directly involved for three months. Markle then remained on WME's books through to the 2025 split.

For fans, this means the name on the door has not changed. She is still with WME. She is just no longer working with Emanuel.
