Thomas Tuchel says England will never find another Harry Kane.

"You will not get another Harry Kane, first of all," the England boss said. "There will be someone else, but it will not be Harry or a copy of Harry," BBC Sport reported.

It was Tuchel's blunt answer to the question every England manager eventually faces. What happens when Kane is gone? His point was simple. Do not look for a clone. Look for something different.

Kane is still setting the standard. The 33-year-old Bayern Munich forward scored a record-extending 87th goal for England against the Czech Republic. That strike keeps pulling him clear at the top of the country's scoring charts, where no one else is close.

He is closing in on another landmark too. Kane is now two appearances away from equalling Peter Shilton's mark of 125 England caps. For a player who leads the line every game, that kind of durability is rare. He scores, he links play, and he rarely misses.

Tuchel gave a glimpse of life without him during that Czech Republic game. England finished the match with Jude Bellingham up front as a number nine, a central striker. It was not a like-for-like swap. Bellingham plays with power and late runs into the box, not the same hold-up game and laser passing that Kane brings.

England will keep testing those ideas. Tuchel said the team are looking for "different options and solutions" to replace Kane, according to the Mirror. That means different shapes, different runners, and different ways to share the goals around.

What makes this stand out is the tone. There was no rush to name a successor. No promise of the next Kane waiting in the wings. Just respect for what the captain still does, and a clear message to everyone else.

For fans, this means watching two stories at once. Kane keeps chasing history with every cap and every goal. Behind him, England start learning how to play when he is not there.
