Macklemore sells out three Free Palestine tour dates

Macklemore says all three dates on his Free Palestine Tour sold out immediately.
He confirmed the sell-outs on Sept. 30, less than a week after he announced the concerts, as reported by Billboard. They went fast.
The three shows are in Dublin, Paris and London. The run opens at Dublin's 3Arena on Oct. 26, continues at Paris' Accor Arena on Oct. 29 and closes at London's OVO Arena Wembley on Oct. 30.
The dates are billed as "Macklemore and Friends". The joining artists have not yet been revealed. Macklemore said the official line-ups are coming soon.
Proceeds from the shows will benefit a dozen organisations supporting Palestinians. The named beneficiaries include Gaza Soup Kitchen, Medical Aid for Palestinians and the Palestine Children's Relief Fund. The full list of 12 groups has not yet been detailed in the announcement.
The new tour follows his removal from Ed Sheeran's U.S. Loop Tour. Macklemore was dropped from the support slot after saying "Free Palestine" during his Sept. 4 opening set at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey. He announced the Free Palestine Tour days after that removal, according to the BBC.
More shows are planned. Macklemore intends to add U.S. dates to the Dublin, Paris and London concerts, as reported by Pitchfork. No U.S. cities or dates have been confirmed yet.
For fans, this means a short wait for two announcements. The European guest lists are still to come, and the next question is when and where the American shows will land.
