Moncler Grenoble picks Engadin Valley for fall 2027 mountain show

Moncler Grenoble will stage its fall 2027 show in Switzerland's Engadin Valley on 6 February. The show will sit inside a weekend-long celebration of mountain life, WWD reported. The precise location is undisclosed and described as intimate.
Moncler, the Italian outerwear group, runs Grenoble as its high-performance division. That means technical clothing for skiing and mountain activity, cut for warmth, weather and movement. The group rebooted Grenoble in that role in 2022.
The name reaches back to Grenoble, the French city that hosted the 1968 Olympic Games. Moncler was then the official supplier to the French national ski team. The first Grenoble collection was presented in New York in January 2010 during New York Fashion Week, the industry's twice-yearly slate of designer shows.
A fall collection is the autumn-winter range, shown months before it reaches shops. Grenoble now makes a habit of showing it on the mountain itself. Its fall 2024 show was held in St Moritz.
That St Moritz presentation took place on snow-capped Alpine peaks. Models Emily Ratajkowski, Irina Shayk and Joan Smalls walked in that show, Elle UK reported. Grenoble had billed a major St Moritz event for 3 February in the build-up, setting up that return to the Swiss mountains.
Since then the locations have kept shifting. Grenoble staged its March 2025 show at Courchevel Altiport in the French Alps during a blizzard. In late January it unveiled its fall 2026 collection in Aspen in its first American ski-destination show for about 400 guests.
The line works with technical fabrics and detailed finishes. They include laminated merino knits and embroideries with a 3D effect. The group is led by Remo Ruffini, and the plan for Engadin was first reported on 1 October 2026.
What makes this stand out is the routine. The audience gathers in the cold where the clothing is meant to work. For fans following from home, this means the venue pictures matter as much as the looks.
No guest list has been published. No further details on venue or casting have been disclosed. The 6 February date keeps the show inside the winter season.
