Chicken Shop Date will say goodbye on two screens at once. The final season lands on Netflix on Oct. 2. It goes live there at the same time as on Amelia Dimoldenberg's YouTube and social media channels, according to Variety.

The deal covers more than the finale. Netflix is also adding past episodes from the show's library, a term for older episodes made available again. The plan puts new and old interviews in one place for subscription viewers.

Those library episodes include interviews with Andrew Garfield, Damson Idris, Central Cee, Sabrina Carpenter, Ryan Reynolds, Hugh Jackman and Jack Harlow. The list spans film, pop and rap. It shows the breadth of guests the format booked over the years.

The format is simple. Dimoldenberg hosts one-on-one chats with celebrities inside chicken shops. She also directs the series and produces it under her Dimz Inc. banner. She launched it in 2014, and it has since run to 115 episodes.

That is more than a decade on air. The run earned the show the 2022 Streamy Award for best indie series. Dimoldenberg was recognised on Time magazine's inaugural Time100 Creators list in 2025. She has also served for the past three years as the Academy's social media ambassador and red carpet correspondent at the Oscars.

Dimoldenberg revealed in late September that the celebrity interview series would end, as reported by Variety. The Netflix arrival, reported on Oct. 1, puts that farewell in front of subscription viewers as well as YouTube followers. Nothing changes for the YouTube audience. The episodes still land where they always did.

For fans, this means easy catching up. New viewers can start with Garfield or Carpenter on Netflix, then jump to YouTube for the rest. Longtime viewers get the finale wherever they prefer to watch.

What comes next is already taking shape. Dimoldenberg will star in and produce a romantic comedy about a celebrity interviewer for Orion Pictures. She has also launched Passenger Princess, a Formula 1 interview series that is set to return to YouTube for a second season. The Orion project was announced in February, while Passenger Princess launched in 2025 ahead of its second season run.
