Twenty-one celebrities walk into a castle in the Scottish Highlands tonight.

The Celebrity Traitors Series 2 premieres at 8 p.m. UK time on Thursday, Oct. 1, 2026, on BBC One and BBC iPlayer, as reported by The Hollywood Reporter. New episodes air twice a week on Thursdays and Fridays at 8 p.m.

Claudia Winkleman hosts the series. The run is 10 episodes of 60 minutes each, according to the BBC. The opening show on Oct. 1 is listed as an extra-long episode, and the series is set in the Scottish Highlands, the BBC confirmed in its air-date announcement.

The 21-strong cast mixes actors, singers, comics and presenters. It includes Bella Ramsey, James Blunt, Sharon Rooney, Leigh-Anne Pinnock, Maya Jama, Miranda Hart, Richard E. Grant, Joanne McNally, Jerry Hall, Julie Hesmondhalgh and Michael Sheen.

The line-up also features journalist and broadcaster Amol Rajan, comedian and podcaster James Acaster, comics Rob Beckett, Romesh Ranganathan and Joe Lycett, actor and presenter Ross Kemp, actor Sebastian Croft, Professor Hannah Fry and actor Myha'la. The BBC Media Centre published the full confirmed line-up in May.

The celebrity edition returns with a high viewing bar. Comedian Alan Carr won Series 1, with the finale drawing a record-breaking 12 million BBC viewers, as reported by The Hollywood Reporter. That figure was reported as a BBC audience for the final.

UK viewers can watch live on BBC One or stream on BBC iPlayer. Viewers outside the United Kingdom can watch by using a VPN, software that routes an internet connection via a U.K. server, to access BBC iPlayer. In the United States, Peacock has carried the U.K. celebrity edition and published viewing guidance, according to Peacock.

For fans, this means two nights a week to keep free. Ten hours. Twenty-one names to learn. The Thursday-Friday pattern makes it appointment viewing, with the result decided night by night rather than in a single drop.
