Wu Yize beats Trump to set up all-Chinese Shenzhen final with Yuan

Wu Yize beat Judd Trump 6-1 to reach the Shenzhen Open final. He will face Yuan Sijun in an all-Chinese final after Yuan edged Jimmy Robertson 6-5 in the second semi-final, according to BBC Sport.
Trump, ranked world No. 2, started the stronger. He took the opening frame with a break of 77, building points in one visit to the table to pull clear.
Wu took the next six frames without reply. Trump never recovered. Wu closed out the 6-1 win with a break of 110, a century break (100 or more points in a single visit).
It continued a strong run for Wu in Guangdong Province, China. He had reached the last four with a 5-4 win over Shaun Murphy in a deciding frame, the last frame that settles a tied match, according to the World Snooker Tour.
Trump had arrived in form. He whitewashed Mark Selby to set up the meeting with Wu, in what was the 77th ranking semi-final of his career, according to the World Snooker Tour.
Yuan's route was tighter. He held off Robertson 6-5 to reach his first ranking final. A ranking event is one where results count towards the official world rankings.
It was only the third ranking semi-final of Yuan's career, according to the World Snooker Tour. Robertson pushed him all the way, but Yuan held his nerve in the decider.
The final between Wu and Yuan is scheduled at the Bao'an Sports Centre on Sunday.
What makes this stand out is the quiet control of it. Wu missed little after the opener, and Yuan came through a test of a very different kind. For fans, this means a new name on the trophy, and a full house for an all-home final.
