Zach Bryan sets Gillette Stadium attendance record with 73,538 fans

Zach Bryan drew 73,538 fans to Gillette Stadium in Foxborough, Massachusetts, on Saturday, Oct. 3, breaking the venue's attendance record.
The figure was announced by the stadium after the second of back-to-back shows on his With Heaven on Tour, according to Billboard. The two-night stand was organised as part of that tour.
The number came from the venue itself. Gillette Stadium announced the total in an Instagram post, as reported by Deadline. It is the largest crowd for any event at the stadium, according to Variety.
That total sits above the stadium's listed capacity of 64,628. Seating configurations vary for concerts and other events, which allows concert crowds to exceed the standard sports seating count.
The record followed a separate talking point from the night before. On Friday, Oct. 2, Bryan performed in a black T-shirt reading "Free Palestine". Members of his band were also spotted wearing matching shirts.
He said nothing about it on stage. Bryan did not address the shirts during either performance.
The venue is owned by the Kraft Group. Robert Kraft is owner of the New England Patriots and Gillette Stadium.
Bryan is a Grammy winner. His appearance came weeks after Macklemore was dropped from Ed Sheeran's tour amid controversy, according to USA Today.
What makes this stand out is the pairing. One night brought a public statement worn but not explained. The next brought a house record measured to the person.
