NFL Reviewing Official Caught Swearing at Cardinals' Trey McBride

The NFL is reviewing video that appears to show an official swearing at Arizona Cardinals tight end Trey McBride during Sunday's 36-24 loss to the New York Giants. League spokesperson Brian McCarthy told the Associated Press the league is looking into the circumstances The Guardian. The cameras caught it all.
The moment came with just under five minutes left. Arizona faced a crucial third down, the do-or-die play where a team must reach the markers or give up the ball, and did not convert. McBride, Arizona's pass-catching tight end, thought New York defensive back Dru Phillips should have been flagged and made his case to the nearby official.
That official was line judge Jeff Seeman, the crew member who watches the line of scrimmage and the sideline. On the broadcast feed, Seeman appeared to answer McBride's appeal by saying "fuck you." McBride seemed to realize the exchange was on camera and laughed.
The clip spread quickly after the game. JC Tretter, executive director of the NFL Players Association and a retired offensive lineman, said behavior from an official toward a player of that kind is unacceptable. McBride did not address the incident in his postgame comments.
For fans, this one is jarring because officials are supposed to be the calmest people in a loud stadium. Players plead for flags on almost every snap. Officials almost never answer back, at least not where a microphone can hear it. The league has not said when its review will end or whether Seeman could face discipline.
