Lolly Adefope has taken over as Mary Todd Lincoln in Oh, Mary! in the West End.

First-look production photos released on 5 October 2026 show her in the role at the Trafalgar Theatre, according to WhatsOnStage. The pictures offer the first full view of the new lead in costume, on set and under stage lights. Producers put out images like these when a new star joins. Fans tend to share them fast. The release date matches the current date of record, 5 October 2026.

The run is Adefope's West End debut. That means a first appearance in London's main group of large commercial theatres. The West End is the city's high-profile commercial circuit. A debut there brings big nightly crowds and close press attention. Here it comes with a leading role. It is a clear step up in scale.

She is not alone on stage. Lucy Frederick plays Mary's Chaperone. Syrus Lowe plays Mary's Husband. Vinnie Heaven plays Mary's Teacher. J R Ballantyne plays Mary's Husband's Assistant. The five actors perform the show together each night. Small casts put extra focus on each performer. The names matter for ticket buyers who follow particular performers.

Fans have a clear cut-off date. Adefope is scheduled to give her final performance on 5 December 2026. A final performance is the last night for that actor. It is not necessarily the last night for the show. The production itself is booking until 2 January 2027 at the Trafalgar Theatre. Booking until means seats are currently on sale up to that date. That window covers the festive period, a busy time for London theatres.

The play is by Cole Escola. Escola is the writer behind the piece. It is directed by Sam Pinkleton, who shapes how it looks and moves on stage. Oh, Mary! made its West End premiere at the Trafalgar Theatre in December 2025. That premiere started the London run now continuing into a second year. Playbill had earlier flagged Adefope's debut in August with a 12-photo feature.

For fans, this means timing matters. To see this line-up, book for before 5 December. The show is still scheduled to continue into the new year after she leaves. The Trafalgar Theatre is the West End house hosting the run. Check listings for times, prices and any cast changes before you buy.
