Nyle DiMarco Joins Hulu's All's Fair for Season 2
Nyle DiMarco has joined Season 2 of All's Fair, Hulu's legal drama, in a recurring role. The term means he will appear in several episodes without joining the main cast full time. His character is being kept under wraps for now, according to Deadline.
The part was first written as a hearing character. It is now being rewritten specifically for DiMarco, who is deaf. That kind of rework shapes dialogue, scenes and how other characters interact with him.
Season 2 is already confirmed. Hulu renewed All's Fair on 24 November 2025, as reported by Elle. The show is produced by 20th Television in association with Ryan Murphy Television.
DiMarco is not the only new face. Brazilian actor Cauã Reymond will join Season 2 as a series regular. That is the step up from recurring. He will be part of the central cast across the season.
A series regular and a recurring player sit in different slots. A regular is in the main titles and appears week to week. A recurring actor drops in for a set story. Both can shape a season.
DiMarco has also worked behind the camera. His feature documentary directing debut was Deaf President Now! The film premiered at the 2025 Sundance Film Festival. It was then released by Apple TV+ in May 2025, according to Deadline.
The documentary brought award attention. It earned a Humanitas Prize nomination. It also earned two Emmy nominations. They were for Outstanding Documentary or Nonfiction Special and Outstanding Directing for a Documentary/Nonfiction Program.
The directing nomination was a first. DiMarco became the first deaf filmmaker nominated for an Emmy for Outstanding Directing for a Documentary/Nonfiction Program. His producing credits include the Oscar-nominated documentary short Audible.
Acting remains part of his career. His credits include Queer as Folk, Station 19, Difficult People and Switched at Birth. The All's Fair role adds a Hulu legal drama to that run.
What makes this stand out is the adaptation. Viewers will not see the character as first written. They will see a version shaped for a deaf actor. For fans, this means a new storyline to watch for when Season 2 lands.
